Past President Adrian Funtelar and Rotarian Rolixto Jodieres Jr. joined the first project of Rotaract Club of Metro Iloilo.
The group turned over school supplies to La Consolacion Integrated School, a mountainous school in Miagao Iloilo on August 14, 2022.
Despite the heavy rains and slippery roads, the team continued their journey and successfully handed over the supplies as part of RAC Metro Iloilo's Back-to-school Project Year 7.
The collaboration between Rotary Clubs and Rotaract Clubs showed that it's important to develop a strong partnership between both in order to bridge the membership gap while exchanging ideas and strategies that work for cultivating a relationship, including dual membership, joint meetings and service projects, and more.
