RCMI Represents: 3 Rotary Events in 1 Night

Old adages say, 'divide and conquer' or 'divide and rule'. For the Rotary Club of Metro Iloilo (RCMI) - it is 'divide and represent'.

On July 08, 2023, 1 night in 3 locations, RCMI Rotarians represented the club in three separate Rotary events. Just last week, RCMI sent representation in Mindanao for the sisterhood agreement with RC Downtown Davao. Now, RCMI sent representations to Luzon and Visayas namely in the cities of Manila, Cebu and Bacolod.

Let us start in Cebu. RCMI representatives went to Cebu for the club sisterhood agreement between RC Metro Iloilo represented by IPP Marcos Jurquina and RC Cebu Fuente represented by President Jose Marie Ponce. Other RCMI members present are PE Michael Eric Ho and Rtn. Fulbert Woo. The event was held in Casa Español de Cebu, Cebu City.

Next is the Manila event, the Handover and Induction of the Rotary Club of Manila Magic at Manila Hotel wherein our club was represented by Rotarian Stephen Lim. The keynote speaker was the President-Elect Rafael Alunan III of the Rotary Club of Manila.

Last but not the least was the event in Bacolod City wherein a huge number of RCMI delegates came to the City of Smiles. The event was the District Handover and Turnover Ceremonies of Rotary International District 3850 held at Acacia Hotel Bacolod. Delegates were led by PDG Ramon 'Toto' Cua Locsin, IPDG John Michael 'Kano' Ng and President Carlo Robles.

Rotarians present are Jeffrey Divinagracia, Melvin Sedotes, Aniano Fajardo, Assistant Governor Adrian Funtelar, PP Cornelio Tanagon, Rey Anthony Garbino, Jose Maria Gaitan, Henry Longno and Roy Celo.

Rotary Anns present are Lady Kyrstle Ng and Michelle Funtelar.

Of course, it will end as always the RCMI way - last man standing, last to leave the event or the fellowship. Cheers!
